Description

Small brown wooden stave cask.

This is a small wooden cask with a pear shaped profile probably made in the early twentieth century from Spain or Portugal.  It has iron bands and iron tack decoration.  There is a wooden stopper fastened with a chain to a shouldered post.  There is a brass leaf on each side.
